Russia: export potential of maize in 2013/14 MY totals 3.5 mln tonnes - expert
In 2013/14 MY the potential of maize exports from Russia totals 3.5 mln tonnes, declared Vladimir Petrichenko, General Director of ProZerno LLC, in an exclusive interview with APK-Inform Agency.
As for the export volumes, the expert raised the forecast of maize export potential from the level of 3.2 mln tonnes to 3.5 mln tonnes. As a reminder, in 2012/13 MY Russia shipped 1.93 mln tonnes, but in the current season maize exports to almost double, he said.
