Ukrainian Grain Association forecasts grain harvest at 60-62 mln tonnes
Ukrainian Grain Association estimated the grain harvest in Ukraine in the current year at the level of 60-62 mln tonnes, against 63.3 mln tonnes in 2013, declared Vladimir Klimenko, President of the Association, on May 29 at the press-conference "Grain market of Ukraine: problems and solutions. Forecasts of grain production and exports in 2014/15 MY".
According to him, the general grain harvest will not exceed the last year results. V.Klimenko forecasted the grain exports from Ukraine in 2014/15 MY within 30-32 mln tonnes, whereas in the current season the index may reach 33 mln tonnes.
