The KSG Agro agricultural holding sustained the net loss at the amount of 18.9 mln USD in the first half of the current year as opposed to the net profit of $11.5 million in January-June, 2013.
According to the report, the company's revenue for the period reduced by 40.7% - to 8.2 mln USD. The company's operating loss totaled 1.2 mln USD in the first half of 2014 as opposed to 15.5 mln USD of the operating profit for the same period in 2013.
Considering the exchange rate the comprehensive loss totaled nearly 43 mln USD in the period of January-June, 2014.
KSG Agro is a vertically integrated company, operating in all the segments of the agricultural market, including the production, storing, processing and realizations of agricultural commodities. The company's assets are located in Khmelnytskiy, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv and Kherson oblasts.
