APK-inform Agency announces the agro-logistics forum "Dnieper-Danube-Black Sea", which takes place in Chișinău (Moldova) on october.
Partner of the event: the International Finance Corporation (IFC), which is a member of the World Bank Group.
The growing role of Black Sea countries on global agrarian markets mainly contributed to holding of the Forum in the reporting region. To date, countries of the reporting region cover nearly 25% of the global grain trade and more than 10% of vegetable oils trade. At the same time, the Black Sea region is an undisputed leader in supplying of sunflower oil on the global market, and covers over 70% of the international trade segment.
Also, during several recent years the infrastructure of the Black Sea ports started actively developing. Only in 2016, there were put into operation new grain and veg oil transshipment facilities in the ports of Odessa, Yuzhny, Chornomorsk, Mykolaiv (Ukraine), Novorossiysk (Russia), Giurgiulești (Moldova), Constanța (Romania), etc. At the same time, there is a number of logistical projects in the implementation phase.
Key topics of the forum "Dnieper-Danube-Black Sea":
- current condition and prospects for development of the grain market in the Black Sea region;
- Black Sea market of oilseeds: impact factors and prospects;
- development of the infrastructure and logistics of the Dnieper-Danube-Black Sea basin.
In addition to the sessional work, forum participants will visit the port Giurgiulești, which is the largest port in Moldova.
