Main Ukrainian exporters increase grain supplies to the EU countries
The analysis of export trading with grains and pulses from Ukraine shows that in 2013/14 MY the key Ukrainian companies-exporters increased shipments of the reporting cargoes to the EU.
Thus, in July-May of 2013/14 MY the leader of Ukrainian grain exporters, the company Nibulon increased agricultural products shipment to Germany in 7.5 times, and exported more than 230 thsd tonnes of grains to the country, against 30.8 thsd tonnes in the same period of 2012/13 MY. Also, the company increased grain supplies to the Netherlands - 110.2 thsd tonnes in 2013/14 MY, against 75.4 thsd tonnes in 2012/13 MY.
Another major Ukrainian exporter, the company Kernel-Trade increased the exports to the Netherlands in almost 52 times, supplying over 477 thsd tonnes of grains to the country in 2013/14 MY, against 9.2 thsd tonnes exported in 2012/13 MY. Also, the company increased grain supplies to Italy in 6 times (239.7 thsd tonnes, against 49.1 thsd tonnes), and grain supplies to Ireland by 62% (40.4 thsd tonnes, against 25 thsd tonnes).
