In 2014 Ukraine reduced exports of oilseeds and its by-products to France
In January-May of 2014 Ukraine reduced shipment volumes of oilseeds and vegetable oils to France.
So, in the reporting period the general exports of Ukrainian oilseeds to France in monetary terms totaled 26.3 mln USD, down 34% compared with the index of the same period in 2013 (39.7 mln USD).
The exports of Ukrainian vegetable oils and fats to France decreased in even more significant way, and during the first 5 months of 2014 Ukraine supplied the reporting commodities at the sum of 6.8 mln USD, against 49.3 mln USD in the same period of 2013.
Therefore, the share of supplied Ukrainian oils and fats in the reporting direction in the general structure of Ukrainian exports of such products decreased from 17.9% in January-May of 2013, to 3.1% in the same period of 2014.
