In the current season, Ukraine showed the record rates of soybean by-products exports. According to the official data, during the first 9 months (September-May) of the current MY Ukraine supplied the record volumes of soybean meal / cake on foreign markets - 124.9 thsd tonnes, while during the whole last season the exports totaled 86.2 thsd tonnes only. It should be noted that in 2012/13 MY, the exports of soybean meal and cake totaled 14.4 thsd tonnes.
In the reporting period of 2014/15 MY, the exports of soybean oil totaled 98.7 thsd tonnes, which became the record index compared with the same periods of many previous seasons.
According to forecasts of APK-Inform analysts, in 2015/16 MY the positive dynamics in the export market segment will continue.
In terms of the expected record harvest of soybeans, further increasing of oilseed processing capacities in the country, high import demand, and continuation of the livestock industry stagnation, in the new season the export volumes of soybean meal / cake from Ukraine will rise to 350 thsd tonnes, soybean oil - to 155 thsd tonnes, declared Anna Burka, oilseed market analyst at APK-Inform Agency.
