The largest in North-West International Exhibition of equipment, technologies and packaging for food industry PRODTECH will be held on April 10-13, 2006 in the new pavilion of LENEXPO Fairgrounds in Gavan (Pavilion 7). The pavilion is equipped according to latest international standards and opens up new possibilities for exhibitors. Organizers of the exhibition - international Exhibition Companies Primexpo, ITE Group Plc and RESTEC Exhibition Company. Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, Government of Saint-Petersburg and Leningrad Oblast, Association of Branch Unions of Agroindustrial Complex Enterprises, Committee for Industrial Development and High Technologies of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation are lending support to the exhibition. Recommendations of such level are a proof of experts' high estimates. For many years PRODTECH has been contributing to equipage of Russian enterprises with reliable and high quality equipment which complies with recent development trends as well as introduction of state-of-the-art technologies and modern materials, development of international econo0mic cooperation and attraction of investments. According to the data of the official audit of the International Union of Exhibition and Fairs, in 2005 189 companies from 18 countries were presenting their production at the exhibition. According to the results of the last exhibition, it was awarded with UFI (Global Association of Exhibition Industry) and IUEF (International Union of Exhibitions and Fairs) marks which proves the high estimate of professional level of exhibition organization, it's importance for region's economy and for expansion of foreign economic relations. According to organizers' forecasts, the exhibition the display area of the exhibition in 2006 will increase up to 8 000 sq m. By tradition, PRODTECH will be held jointly with the main food exhibition of North-West - INTERFOOD.
