The present article covers the first forecast of grains and oilseeds production in Russia in 2015. The forecasting data are formed taking into account the official statistics, analysis of the agro-meteorological situation, analysis of the polling of Russian agricultural producers, which allowed estimating the current condition of winter crops, and information on the structure of spring crop areas, and the costs for production of major agricultural crops.
