To date Ukraine has already planted spring crops throughout the areas of over 30 thsd ha, mainly in the southern oblasts of the country and the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, declared Ihor Shvaika, Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, on March 6.
According to him, agrarians provide the planting campaign according to the schedule, but there are some psychological threats related to the situation in the Crimea, and the economic factors, due to fluctuation of the foreign currency exchange rates.
I.Shvaika also confirmed the plans of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy to appeal to the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry for providing of petroleum products to agrarians at the discounted price.
