As of March 13, 2014, agrarians of Ukraine already planted early spring grains and pulses throughout the areas of 306 thsd ha, or 11% of the plan, declared the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
In particular, wheat planted areas reached 13 thsd ha (7%), barley - 221 thsd ha (10%), oats – 25 thsd ha (9%), peas - 37 thsd ha (18%).
As of the reporting date, agrarians already provided additional fertilizing of winter grain areas throughout 5.494 mln ha (70%), rapeseed - 802 thsd ha (84%).
