The Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation does not have plans to deny using the mechanism of grain purchasing interventions, declared Nikolai Fedorov, Head of the Ministry, on March 27.
The Ministry of Agriculture plans to use the mechanisms of public purchasing interventions which already proved its effectiveness, in order to strengthen the financial condition of grain producers, said the Minister.
He also confirmed the forecast of the Ministry on the general grain harvest in 2014 at 95 mln tonnes, and the exports in the new season at the level of 22 mln tonnes.
