As of June 2, 2014, Kazakhstan planted spring grains throughout the areas of 13.57 mln ha, or 90.9% of the plan, declared the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Agrarians planted oilseeds throughout 2.159 mln ha (101.8%). The country almost completed planting rice and maize for grain - 95.3 thsd ha (103.9%) and 111.7 thsd ha (96.2%), respectively.
