Agrarians of Krasnodar and Stavropol Krais of the Russian Federation, the Republic of Adygea and the Republic of Crimea started harvesting grains and pulses, declared the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia on June 18.

According to the announcement, as of June 17 agrarians harvested 121.7 thsd tonnes of grains throughout the areas of 40.7 thsd ha, with the average grain yield of 2.99 t/ha.

In particular, Krasnodar Krai harvested 32.7 thsd tonnes of grains throughout 6 thsd ha, with the yield of 5.45 t/ha. Stavropol Krai harvested 7.4 thsd tonnes of grains throughout 2 thsd ha, with the yield of 3.7 t/ha. The Republic of Adygea harvested 2.8 thsd tonnes of grains throughout 0.6 thsd ha, with the yield of 4.67 t/ha. The Crimea harvested 78.8 thsd tonnes of early grains throughout 32.1 thsd ha, with the yield of 2.45 t/ha.
