According to operative data of as of June 24, Ukraine harvested 1.064 mln tonnes of early grains and pulses throughout the areas of 388 thsd ha, or 4% of the planned areas without the Crimea. The average yield totaled 2.74 t/ha, declared the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
As a reminder, on June 25, 2013, agrarians harvested 2.186 mln tonnes of grains throughout 943 thsd ha, with the average yield of 2.32 t/ha.
In particular, Ukrainian agrarians harvested winter wheat throughout 24 thsd ha. The produced volumes totaled 53 thsd tonnes with the yield of 2.19 t/ha.
Agrarians harvested winter barley throughout 364 thsd ha. The produced volumes reached 1.011 mln tonnes with the yield of 2.78 t/ha.
Also, Ukrainian agrarians started harvesting winter rapeseed. The harvested areas reached 16 thsd ha, the volumes – 27 thsd tonnes, the average yield – 1.7 t/ha.
Kherson oblast started harvesting peas, and produced 0.1 thsd tonnes.
