According to operative data as of June 30, several regions of the Southern, North Caucasian and Crimean Federal Districts of Russia harvested grain crops throughout the areas of 953.6 thsd ha, or 2.1% of the planned areas, and produced 3.5 mln tonnes of grains in bunker weight. The average yield totaled 3.65 t/ha, reported the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
As of the reporting date, agrarians harvested winter and spring wheat throughout 308.9 thsd ha, or 1.2% of the planned areas. The produced volumes totaled 1.1 mln tonnes, with the yield of 3.67 t/ha.
Agrarians harvested winter and spring barley throughout 351.5 thsd ha (3.8% of the areas), and produced 1.4 mln tonnes of the grain, with the yield of 4.07 t/ha (in 2013 – 3.69 t/ha).
Also, Krasnodar and Stavropol Krais, the Republics of Adygea and Crimea started harvesting winter rapeseed. As of the reporting date, agrarians harvested the oilseed throughout 49 thsd ha (4%). The produced oilseed volumes reached 87.1 thsd tonnes, with the average yield of 1.78 t/ha.
