According to operative data of as of July 4, Ukraine harvested 4.664 mln tonnes of early grains and pulses throughout the areas of 1.636 mln ha, or 17% of the planned areas without the Crimea. The average yield totaled 2.85 t/ha, declared the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
As a reminder, on July 4, 2013, agrarians harvested 7.118 mln tonnes of grains throughout 2.695 mln ha, with the average yield of 2.64 t/ha.
In particular, Ukrainian agrarians harvested winter wheat throughout 661 thsd ha. The produced volumes totaled 1.936 mln tonnes with the yield of 2.93 t/ha.
Agrarians harvested winter barley throughout 946 thsd ha. The produced volumes reached 2.671 mln tonnes with the yield of 2.82 t/ha.
Also, Ukraine harvested 56 thsd tonnes of peas throughout 29 thsd ha, with the average yield of 1.74 t/ha.
Ukrainian agrarians started harvesting winter rapeseed. The harvested areas reached 226 thsd ha, the volumes – 393 thsd tonnes, the average yield – 1.74 t/ha.
Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv and Kherson oblasts started harvesting rye, the produced volumes reached 0.7 thsd tonnes.
