According to operative data of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Belarus, as of August 8, 2014, Belarus harvested grains and pulses throughout the areas of 2.055 mln ha, or 84.7% of the plan. The average yield totaled 3.97 t/ha, the production volumes - 8.165 mln tonnes of grains.
As of the reporting date, agrarians prepared fields for winter rapeseed planting throughout 234.3 thsd ha (56.5%).
