As of August 1, Azerbaijan produced 2.163 mln tonnes of grains (excluding maize), a decrease of 20% compared with the same date last year, declared the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
According to the announcement, agrarians harvested grains throughout the areas of 948.5 thsd ha. The average yield totaled 2.28 t/ha.
