According to operative data as of August 18, Ukraine harvested 34.827 mln tonnes of early grains and pulses throughout the areas of 9.546 mln ha, or 98% of the planned areas without the Crimea. The average yield totaled 3.65 t/ha, declared the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
In particular, Ukrainian agrarians harvested winter wheat throughout 5.989 mln ha (98%). The produced volumes totaled 24.146 mln tonnes with the yield of 4.03 t/ha.
Agrarians harvested winter barley throughout 2.993 mln ha (98%). The produced volumes reached 9.278 mln tonnes with the yield of 3.1 t/ha.
Ukraine harvested rye throughout 177 thsd ha (95%), the produced volumes reached 450 thsd tonnes, with the yield of 2.54 t/ha.
Also, Ukraine harvested 568 thsd tonnes of oats throughout 227 thsd ha (92%), with the average yield of 2.5 t/ha.
Agrarians produced 371 thsd tonnes of peas, with the yield of 2.43 t/ha. The harvested areas reached 153 thsd ha (99%).
In addition, agrarians harvested 51 thsd tonnes of buckwheat (25%) throughout 34 thsd ha, with the average yield of 1.49 t/ha.
Ukraine harvested 82 thsd tonnes of millet throughout 46 thsd ha (45%). The average yield totaled 1.79 t/ha.
Also, Ukrainian agrarians harvested 59 thsd tonnes of sunflower seed throughout 64 thsd ha (1%), with the average yield of 0.92 t/ha.
