As of September 4, Russia harvested grains and pulses throughout the areas of 28.5 mln ha or 61.1% of the planned areas (27.2 mln ha in 2013). The produced volumes reached 78.8 mln tonnes of grains in bunker weight (63.9 mln tonnes in 2013), and the average yield totaled 2.77 t/ha (2.35 t/ha in 2013), declared the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.

In particular, agrarians harvested winter and spring wheat throughout 15.6 mln ha, or 61.4%. The production totaled 49.3 mln tonnes, with the yield of 3.17 t/ha.

Russia harvested winter and spring barley throughout the areas of 7.2 mln ha or 76.3%. The produced volumes totaled 18 mln tonnes of the grain, with the yield of 2.49 t/ha.

Agrarians harvested maize for grain throughout 219.9 thsd ha, or 8% of the planted areas. The produced volumes reached 1.1 mln tonnes with the average yield of 5.09 t/ha.

In Krasnodar Krai agrarians harvested rice throughout 5.8 thsd ha, or 4.4% of the cultivated areas. The production reached 33.9 thsd tonnes, with the average yield of 5.84 t/ha.

Russia harvested sunflower seed throughout the areas of 512.7 thsd ha (7.5%). The production totaled 1.1 mln tonnes, with the average yield of 2.11 t/ha.

Agrarians harvested winter and spring rapeseed throughout 483.5 thsd ha or 39.9% of the planned areas. The production volumes totaled 826.4 thsd tonnes with the yield of 1.71 t/ha.

Russia harvested 210.7 thsd tonnes of soybeans throughout 147.7 thsd ha (7.5% of the plan), with the yield of 1.43 t/ha.

Russian agrarians continued planting winter grains for the harvest-2015. As of the reporting date, Russia planted winter grains throughout the areas of 3.8 mln ha (23% of the forecast), against 3.5 mln ha in 2013.
