As of July 20, agrarians harvested 13.535 mln tonnes of early grains and pulses throughout the areas of 4.22 mln ha, or 41% of the plan. The average yield totaled 3.21 t/ha, reported the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine.
In particular, Ukraine harvested wheat throughout 2.553 mln ha (37%). The production volumes totaled 8.8 mln tonnes, with the yield of 3.45 t/ha.
Agrarians harvested 4.435 mln tonnes of barley throughout 1.525 mln ha (54%), with the yield of 2.91 t/ha.
Agrarians harvested rye throughout 5 thsd ha (3%). The produced volumes totaled 11 thsd tonnes, with the average yield of 2.29 t/ha.
Also, Ukraine harvested 4 thsd tonnes of oats throughout 2 thsd ha (1%), with the yield of 1.68 t/ha.
The peas production volumes reached 285 thsd tonnes, with the yield of 2.12 t/ha. The harvested areas totaled 134 thsd ha (79%).
As for rapeseed, agrarians harvested 841 thsd tonnes of the oilseed throughout 367 thsd ha (54%), with the average yield of 2.29 t/ha.
We should note that on the same date in 2014, agrarians harvested 17.922 mln tonnes of grains throughout 5.619 mln ha (57%), with the yield of 3.19 t/ha.
