According to the operative data as of August 4, seven oblasts of Kazakhstan started grain harvesting works. Agricultural commodity producers harvested grains throughout the areas of 610.7 thsd ha, or 27.2% of the oblast planned areas, reported the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
As of the reporting date, the country produced 1.04 mln tonnes of grains, with the average yield of 1.7 t/ha.
As a reminder, on the same date last year Kazakhstan harvested 721.2 thsd tonnes of grains throughout 600 thsd ha, with the average yield of 1.2 t/ha.
