As of August 21, agrarians harvested 36.96 mln tonnes of grains and pulses throughout the areas of 10.272 mln ha, or 70% of the plan. The average yield totaled 3.6 t/ha, reported the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine.
According to the announcement, Ukraine already harvested early grains and pulses throughout 100% of the planned areas (10.155 mln ha), the production reached 36.76 mln tonnes, with the yield of 3.62 t/ha.
As for late grains, Ukraine harvested buckwheat throughout 35 thsd ha (27%). The production volumes totaled 43 thsd tonnes, with the yield of 1.23 t/ha. Also, agrarians harvested 89 thsd tonnes of millet throughout 46 thsd ha (43%), with the yield of 1.95 t/ha.
Ukraine started harvesting soybeans, and already produced 15 thsd tonnes of the oilseed. The planted areas reached 8 thsd ha (from the expected areas of 2.145 mln ha), with the yield of 1.82 t/ha.
