According to the operative data as of October 1, agricultural commodity producers harvested grains throughout the areas of 12.205 mln ha, or 82.8% of the planned areas, reported the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In particular, North Kazakhstan oblast harvested grains throughout 2.665 mln ha (83%), Kostanay oblast – 2.975 mln ha (74.1%), Akmola oblast – 3.554 mln ha (85.7%).
As of the reporting date, the country produced 15.035 mln tonnes of grains, with the average yield of 1.23 t/ha.
As a reminder, on the same date last year Kazakhstan harvested 13.523 mln tonnes of grains throughout 11.51 mln ha (77.2%), with the average yield of 1.17 t/ha.
