According to the updated information, as of October 12, Russian agrarians planted winter crops for the harvest-2016 throughout the areas of 14.8 mln ha, or 86.4% of the plan (in 2014 — 15.2 mln ha), announced the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
Also, agrarians harvested grain crops and pulses throughout 42.3 mln ha (in 2014 – 41.5 mln ha), or 95.3% of the planned areas. The produced volumes reached 101.1 mln tonnes in bunker weight (103.5 mln tonnes), with the average yield of 2.39 t/ha (2.5 t/ha).
In particular, Russia harvested winter and spring wheat throughout the areas of 25.2 mln ha, or 98.3% of the plan, and produced 63.3 mln tonnes of the grain, with the average yield of 2.51 t/ha.
Agrarians harvested 18.1 mln tonnes of winter and spring barley throughout 8.1 mln ha, or 98.3% of the harvested areas. The average yield totaled 2.23 t/ha.
Also, they harvested corn grain throughout 1.4 mln ha (50.4% of the plan). The produced volumes totaled 6.9 mln tonnes, with the yield of 5.04 t/ha.
Russian agrarians harvested over 1 mln tonnes of rice throughout 156.5 thsd ha or 78.6% of the planned areas. The average yield totaled 6.46 t/ha.
Also, agrarians harvested buckwheat throughout 856 thsd ha (92.3%), the produced volumes reached 837.4 thsd tonnes, the average yield – 0.98 t/ha.
Agrarians harvested sunflower seed throughout 4.9 mln ha, or 72% of the planned areas, and produced 7.6 mln tonnes of the oilseed, with the yield of 1.56 t/ha.
As of the reporting date, Russian agrarians harvested rapeseed throughout 772.4 thsd ha or 76.3% of the plan, and produced 1 mln tonnes of the oilseed. The average yield totaled 1.31 t/ha.
Agrarians harvested 1.6 mln tonnes of soybeans throughout 1 mln ha (50.3%) with the yield of 1.55 t/ha.
Russia harvested flaxseed throughout 44.3 thsd ha, or 77.4% of the planned areas.
