As of October 22, Ukrainian agrarians harvested 51.927 mln tonnes of grains and pulses throughout the areas of 13.254 mln ha, or 91% of the plan. The average yield totaled 3.92 t/ha, reported the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine.
In particular, Ukraine harvested corn grain throughout 2.744 mln ha (66%), the produced volumes reached 14.128 mln tonnes, with the yield of 5.15 t/ha.
Ukrainian agrarians harvested buckwheat throughout 121 thsd ha (91%). The production volumes totaled 139 thsd tonnes, with the yield of 1.15 t/ha. Also, agrarians harvested 208 thsd tonnes of millet throughout 104 thsd ha (97%), with the yield of 2 t/ha.
Also, as of the reporting date Ukraine harvested 10.257 mln tonnes of sunflower seed throughout 4.832 mln ha (97%). The average yield totaled 2.12 t/ha.
Ukraine already produced 3.212 mln tonnes of soybeans. The harvested areas reached 1.889 mln ha (88%), with the yield of 1.7 t/ha.
As of October 22, agricultural producers planted winter grains throughout 5.96 mln ha (81%), including 5.208 mln ha of winter wheat and triticale (84%), 141 thsd ha of winter rye (89%), and 611 thsd ha of winter barley (58%).
