According to the updated information, as of October 26, Russian agrarians planted winter crops for the harvest-2016 throughout the areas of 15.6 mln ha, or 91.4% of the plan (in 2014 — 16.2 mln ha), announced the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
Also, agrarians harvested grain crops and pulses throughout 43.4 mln ha (in 2014 – 42.5 mln ha), or 97.8% of the planned areas. The produced volumes reached 105 mln tonnes in bunker weight (106.5 mln tonnes), with the average yield of 2.42 t/ha (2.5 t/ha).
In particular, Russia harvested winter and spring wheat throughout the areas of 25.4 mln ha, or 99.7% of the plan, and produced 63.8 mln tonnes of the grain, with the average yield of 2.51 t/ha.
Agrarians harvested 18.2 mln tonnes of winter and spring barley throughout 8.2 mln ha, or 99.6% of the harvested areas. The average yield totaled 2.23 t/ha.
Also, they harvested corn grain throughout 1.9 mln ha (70.8% of the plan). The produced volumes totaled 10.1 mln tonnes, with the yield of 5.25 t/ha.
Russian agrarians harvested 1.18 mln tonnes of rice throughout 186.1 thsd ha or 93.6% of the planned areas. The average yield totaled 6.33 t/ha.
Also, agrarians harvested buckwheat throughout 908.3 thsd ha (98.8%), the produced volumes reached 875 thsd tonnes, the average yield – 0.96 t/ha.
Agrarians harvested sunflower seed throughout 6 mln ha, or 88.1% of the planned areas, and produced 8.9 mln tonnes of the oilseed, with the yield of 1.48 t/ha.
As of the reporting date, Russian agrarians harvested rapeseed throughout 848.9 thsd ha or 83.9% of the plan, and produced 1.1 mln tonnes of the oilseed. The average yield totaled 1.27 t/ha.
Agrarians harvested 2.4 mln tonnes of soybeans throughout 1.7 mln ha (84.4%) with the yield of 1.42 t/ha.
Russia harvested flaxseed throughout 46.1 thsd ha, or 80.4% of the planned areas.
