According to the updated information, as of November 19, Russian agrarians planted winter crops for the harvest-2016 throughout the areas of 16.3 mln ha, or 95.1% of the plan (in 2014 — 16.8 mln ha), announced the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
Also, agrarians harvested grain crops and pulses throughout 43.9 mln ha (in 2014 – 43.6 mln ha), or 98.9% of the planned areas. The produced volumes reached 107.9 mln tonnes in bunker weight (109.9 mln tonnes), with the average yield of 2.46 t/ha (2.51 t/ha).
In particular, Russia harvested winter and spring wheat throughout the areas of 25.5 mln ha, or 99.8% of the plan, and produced 63.9 mln tonnes of the grain, with the average yield of 2.51 t/ha.
Agrarians harvested 18.3 mln tonnes of winter and spring barley throughout 8.2 mln ha, or 99.9% of the harvested areas. The average yield totaled 2.23 t/ha.
Also, they harvested corn grain throughout 2.4 mln ha (87% of the plan). The produced volumes totaled nearly 12.2 mln tonnes (in 2014 – 11 mln tonnes), with the yield of 5.15 t/ha (4.56 t/ha).
Russian agrarians harvested 1.2 mln tonnes of rice throughout 195.9 thsd ha or 98.5% of the planned areas. The average yield totaled 6.28 t/ha.
Also, agrarians harvested buckwheat throughout 912.2 thsd ha (99.3%), the produced volumes reached 888 thsd tonnes, the average yield – 0.97 t/ha.
Agrarians harvested sunflower seed throughout 6.4 mln ha, or 94.3% of the planned areas, and produced nearly 9.4 mln tonnes of the oilseed, with the yield of 1.47 t/ha.
As of the reporting date, Russian agrarians harvested rapeseed throughout 870.2 thsd ha or 86.1% of the plan, and produced 1.1 mln tonnes of the oilseed. The average yield totaled 1.25 t/ha.
Agrarians harvested 2.8 mln tonnes of soybeans throughout 1.97 mln ha (99.4%) with the yield of 1.43 t/ha.
