Turkmenistan plans to harvest 1.6 mln tonnes of grains in 2016, as opposed to 1.406 mln tonnes last year. In the current year, the harvested areas will reach 760 thsd ha, declared the press-service of the Government of Turkmenistan.
Also, the President of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov charged the officials to ensure complete readiness of combine harvesters, vehicles, as well as elevators and granaries, etc., due to quite little time until beginning of the harvesting campaign.
