As of May 17, 2016, Belarusian agricultural organizations provided the planting campaign of corn throughout the areas of 755.6 thsd ha or 105.5% of the plan. But on the same date last year, agrarians planted corn throughout 828.2 mln ha (104.9%), declared the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Belarus.
In particular, agrarians planted corn for grain throughout 173.4thsd ha (110.1%).
