As of June 27, agrarians of Russia harvested grain crops throughout the areas of 0.5 mln ha (on the same date in 2015 - 0.2 mln ha), and produced 2.1 mln tonnes of grains, with the average yield of 4.36 t/ha (in 2015 - 0.7 mln tonnes with the yield of 3.98 t/ha), reported the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
To date, agrarians of the Republics of Adygea and Crimea, Stavropol and Krasnodar Krais provide active harvesting works. Also, agrarians of the Republics of Kalmykia and Karachay-Cherkessia started the harvesting campaign.
In particular, Krasnodar Krai harvested 779.8 thsd tonnes of grains throughout 139 thsd ha, with the average yield of 5.61 t/ha.
Stavropol Krai harvested over 1 mln tonnes of grains throughout 235.2 thsd ha, with the yield at 4.31 t/ha.
The Republic of Adygea harvested 73.2 thsd tonnes of grains throughout 14.5 thsd ha. The yield totaled 5.05 t/ha.
The Republic of Crimea harvested 243.3 thsd tonnes of grains throughout 94 thsd ha, with the yield at 2.59 t/ha.
Also, the Republic of Kalmykia harvested 10 thsd tonnes of grains throughout 3.3 thsd ha. The average yield totaled 3.06 t/ha.
