As of July 7, Russian agrarians continued harvesting grains and pulses. Agrarians harvested grain crops throughout the areas of 2.2 mln ha (in 2015 - 1.4 mln ha), and produced 9.6 mln tonnes of grains, with the average yield of 4.33 t/ha (in 2015 - 5.3 mln tonnes with the yield of 3.81 t/ha), reported the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.

In particular, in the Southern Federal District agrarians harvested grains and pulses throughout 1 mln ha. The produced volumes reached 5.1 mln tonnes of grains, with the average yield of 4.91 t/ha.

The North Caucasian District harvested 3.7 mln tonnes of grains throughout 0.9 mln ha. The yield totaled 4.14 t/ha.

Also, the Republic of Crimea harvested 650.6 thsd tonnes of grains throughout 238.2 thsd ha, with the yield at 2.73 t/ha.

Generally, agrarians harvested winter and spring wheat in the country throughout 1.4 mln ha. The produced volumes reached 6.4 mln tonnes, with the yield of 4.55 t/ha.

Russia harvested 2.2 mln tonnes of winter and spring barley throughout 514.7 mln ha. The average yield totaled 4.21 t/ha.

At the same time, Krasnodar and Stavropol Krais, the Republics of Adygea, Crimea and the Chechen Republic harvested winter rapeseed throughout 32.5 thsd ha, and produced 63.2 thsd tonnes of the oilseed, with the average yield of 1.94 t/ha.
