As of July 7, agrarians harvested 3.856 mln tonnes of early grains and pulses throughout the areas of 1.11 mln ha, or 12% of the plan. The average yield totaled 3.47 t/ha. At the same time, on the same date in 2015 agrarians harvested 1.891 mln tonnes of grains throughout 619 thsd ha, with the yield of 3.05 t/ha, reported the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
In particular, as of the reporting date Ukraine harvested winter wheat throughout 312 thsd ha. The production volumes totaled 1.161 mln tonnes, with the yield of 3.72 t/ha.
Agrarians harvested 2.554 thsd tonnes of winter barley throughout 750 thsd ha, with the yield of 3.4 t/ha.
Also, peas production volumes reached 141 thsd tonnes, with the yield of 2.99 t/ha. The harvested areas totaled 47 thsd ha.
As for winter rapeseed, agrarians harvested 144 thsd tonnes of the oilseed throughout 62 thsd ha, with the average yield of 2.34 t/ha.
