According to the regional agricultural departments, as of July 21 Kazakh agrarians harvested grains throughout 276 thsd ha, or 30.3% of the planned areas, declared the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
As of the reporting date, agrarians produced 583.2 thsd tonnes of grains, an increase of 129.8 thsd tonnes compared with the same date last year. The average yield totaled 2.11 t/ha.
In particular, in Almaty oblast agrarians harvested grains throughout 21.5 thsd ha, Jambyl oblast - 123.5 thsd ha, Kyzylorda oblast - 5.4 thsd ha, and South Kazakhstan oblast — 125.6 thsd ha.
