According to the regional agricultural departments, as of July 27 Kazakh agrarians harvested grains throughout 440.7 thsd ha, or 35.2% of the planned areas, declared the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
As of the reporting date, agrarians produced 955.9 thsd tonnes of grains, an increase of 171 thsd tonnes compared with the same date last year. The average yield totaled 2.17 t/ha (up 0.48 t/ha).
In particular, in Almaty oblast agrarians harvested grains throughout 100.4 thsd ha, West Kazakhstan oblast — 26.7 thsd ha, Jambyl oblast — 154.5 thsd ha, Kyzylorda oblast - 5.4 thsd ha, and South Kazakhstan oblast — 153.8 thsd ha.
