In 2016/17 MY, the forecast of the general grain production in Ukraine (excluding the Crimea) totals 60.55 mln tonnes, an increase of 2.9 mln tonnes compared with the previous forecast, informed the balance sheets of NGO "Economic discussion club", supported by the Interdepartmental working group under the Ministry of Economic Development of Ukraine.
Also, the export potential of Ukrainian grains in the new season is estimated at 41.024 mln tonnes (up 2.847 mln tonnes), including 16.6 mln tonnes of wheat, 5.617 mln tonnes of barley, 18.005 mln tonnes of corn, and 794 thsd tonnes of other grains.
