As of September 26, Ukrainian agrarians harvested 41.955 mln tonnes of grains throughout the areas of 10.603 mln ha, or 74% of the plan. The average yield totaled 3.96 t/ha, reported the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine. At the same time, on the same date last year the production volumes reached 40.9 mln tonnes.

In particular, agrarians continued harvesting corn. As of the reporting date, Ukraine harvested 3.174 mln tonnes of the grain throughout 642 thsd ha (15%). The average yield reached 4.94 t/ha.

Also, Ukraine harvested 166 thsd tonnes of buckwheat throughout 131 thsd ha (88%). The average yield totaled 1.26 t/ha. Agrarians harvested millet throughout 96 thsd ha (93%). The production volumes totaled 175 thsd tonnes, with the yield of 1.82 t/ha.

Agricultural enterprises of Ukraine harvested 6.758 mln tonnes of sunflower seed throughout 3.161 mln ha (53%), with the average yield of 2.14 t/ha.

Ukraine continued harvesting soybeans. Agrarians harvested 1.739 mln tonnes of the oilseed throughout the areas of 824 thsd ha (45%), with the average yield of 2.11 t/ha.

Ukraine continued realizing the planting campaign of winter grains. As of September 26, agrarians planted winter grains throughout 2.158 mln ha (29% of the plan), down 846 thsd ha compared with the same date last year.

In particular, Ukraine planted winter wheat and triticale throughout 2.024 mln ha (33%), winter rye - 79 thsd ha (54%), and winter barley - 55 thsd ha (5%). Also, Ukraine planted winter rapeseed throughout 683 thsd ha (94%).
