In 2017, Russia will keep the general grain harvest at the level expected for the current year - 113-116 mln tonnes, declared the Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, Alexander Tkachev on September 30.
In accordance with the State program, in 2017 it is planned to produce 107 mln tonnes of grains. However, the Ministry will look for keeping the harvest at the current year level, or even increasing the results, A.Tkachev said.
At the same time, he reminded that in 2016 the expected grain harvest in Russia (113-116 mln tonnes) will break a record for the country for 25 recent years.
