The Ministry of Agriculture of Russia increased its estimations of the general wheat harvest in Russia in the current year from the previously forecasted index at 71 mln tonnes to 72 mln tonnes, declared the Director of the Department of plant growing, chemicalization and plant protection at the Ministry of Agriculture, Petr Chekmarev on October 6.
At the same time, in 2016 the other market leaders, China and the USA, will harvest 126.2 mln tonnes and 55.4 mln tonnes of wheat respectively, he said.
