As of October 1, 2016, in Ukraine the production of grains and pulses totaled 44.443 mln tonnes in bunker weight, an increase of 3.5% compared with the same date last year, declared the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.
According to the official statistics figures, Ukrainian agrarians harvested 8.998 mln tonnes of sunflower seed in bunker weight (up 5.4%), and 3.236 mln tonnes of sugar beet (up 64.9%).
