As of November 3, Russian agrarians continued harvesting grains and pulses. Agrarians harvested grain crops throughout the general areas of 45 mln ha (on the same date in 2015 — 43.7 mln ha), or 95.2% of the planned areas. The produced volumes reached 120.3 mln tonnes of grains, with the average yield of 2.67 t/ha (in 2015 – 106.4 mln tonnes with the yield of 2.44 t/ha), reported the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
In particular, agrarians harvested winter and spring wheat throughout 27.2 mln ha (98.2% of the plan). The produced volumes reached 75.8 mln tonnes, with the yield of 2.79 t/ha.
Russia harvested 19.1 mln tonnes of winter and spring barley throughout 8.1 mln ha (97%). The average yield totaled 2.35 t/ha.
Agrarians harvested corn for grain throughout 1.8 mln ha (62.1%), and produced 10.1 mln tonnes of the grain, with the average yield at 5.61 t/ha.
Russia harvested 1.2 mln tonnes of rice throughout 186.9 thsd ha (90.7%). The average yield totaled 6.6 t/ha.
Russian agrarians continued the sunflower seed harvesting campaign. Agrarians harvested 9.9 mln tonnes of the oilseed throughout 6.3 mln ha (83.7%). The average yield totaled 1.58 t/ha.
Also, Russia harvested rapeseed throughout 889.7 thsd ha (89.4%), and produced 1.1 mln tonnes of the oilseed, with the average yield of 1.21 t/ha.
Also, agrarians continued harvesting soybeans: the harvested areas reached 1.9 mln ha (87.6%), the produced volumes – 3 mln tonnes, the average yield – 1.56 t/ha.
As of November 3, Russian agrarians planted winter crops for the harvest-2017 throughout 17 mln ha, or 98.2% of the planned areas (in 2015 — 15.8 mln ha).
