As of November 10, Russian agrarians continued harvesting grains and pulses. Agrarians harvested grain crops throughout the general areas of 45.1 mln ha (on the same date in 2015 — 43.8 mln ha), or 95.5% of the planned areas. The produced volumes reached 121.1 mln tonnes of grains, with the average yield of 2.68 t/ha (in 2015 – 106.9 mln tonnes with the yield of 2.44 t/ha), reported the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
In particular, agrarians already harvested winter and spring wheat throughout 27.2 mln ha. The produced volumes reached 75.8 mln tonnes, with the yield of 2.79 t/ha.
Russia harvested 19.1 mln tonnes of winter and spring barley throughout 8.1 mln ha. The average yield totaled 2.35 t/ha.
Agrarians harvested corn for grain throughout 1.9 mln ha (66.5% of the plan), and produced 10.9 mln tonnes of the grain, with the average yield at 5.66 t/ha.
Russia harvested 1.2 mln tonnes of rice throughout 188.5 thsd ha (91.4%). The average yield totaled 6.6 t/ha.
Russian agrarians continued the sunflower seed harvesting campaign. Agrarians harvested 10.2 mln tonnes of the oilseed throughout 6.5 mln ha (86.3%). The average yield totaled 1.58 t/ha.
Also, Russia harvested rapeseed throughout 890.7 thsd ha (89.5%), and produced 1.1 mln tonnes of the oilseed, with the average yield of 1.21 t/ha.
Agrarians continued harvesting soybeans: the harvested areas reached 2 mln ha (89.5%), the produced volumes – 3 mln tonnes, the average yield – 1.55 t/ha.
As of November 10, Russian agrarians planted winter crops for the harvest-2017 throughout 17.2 mln ha, or 98.8% of the planned areas (in 2015 — 15.8 mln ha).
