As of November 11, Ukrainian agrarians harvested 58.441 mln tonnes of grains throughout the areas of 13.176 mln ha, or 92% of the plan. The average yield totaled 4.44 t/ha, reported the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine. At the same time, on the same date last year the production volumes reached 58.8 mln tonnes.
In particular, agrarians continued harvesting corn. As of the reporting date, Ukraine harvested 19.38 mln tonnes of the grain throughout 3.153 mln ha (74%). The average yield reached 6.15 t/ha.
Also, Ukraine harvested 191 thsd tonnes of buckwheat throughout 149 thsd ha (99.8%). The average yield totaled 1.28 t/ha. Agrarians harvested millet throughout 104 thsd ha (100%). The production volumes totaled 190 thsd tonnes, with the yield of 1.83 t/ha.
Agricultural enterprises of Ukraine harvested 13.138 mln tonnes of sunflower seed throughout 5.803 mln ha (98%), with the average yield of 2.26 t/ha.
Ukraine continued harvesting soybeans. Agrarians harvested 3.945 mln tonnes of the oilseed throughout the areas of 1.725 mln ha (94%), with the average yield of 2.29 t/ha.
Ukraine continued realizing the planting campaign of winter grains. As of November 11, agrarians planted winter grains throughout 6.902 mln ha (94% of the plan), up 310 thsd ha compared with the same date last year.
In particular, Ukraine planted winter wheat and triticale throughout 5.883 mln ha (95%), winter rye - 157 thsd ha (107%), and winter barley - 862 thsd ha (84%). Also, Ukraine planted winter rapeseed throughout 831 thsd ha (115%).
