As of November 14, Russian agrarians continued harvesting grains and pulses. Agrarians harvested grain crops throughout the general areas of 45.2 mln ha (on the same date in 2015 — 43.8 mln ha), or 95.7% of the planned areas. The produced volumes reached 121.8 mln tonnes of grains, with the average yield of 2.69 t/ha (in 2015 – 107.4 mln tonnes with the yield of 2.45 t/ha), reported the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
In particular, agrarians already harvested corn for grain throughout 2 mln ha (69.1% of the plan), and produced 11.4 mln tonnes of the grain, with the average yield at 5.69 t/ha.
Russia harvested 1.3 mln tonnes of rice throughout 193.2 thsd ha (93.7%). The average yield totaled 6.52 t/ha.
Russian agrarians continued the sunflower seed harvesting campaign. Agrarians harvested 10.4 mln tonnes of the oilseed throughout 6.6 mln ha (87.5%). The average yield totaled 1.58 t/ha.
Also, Russia harvested rapeseed throughout 890.9 thsd ha (89.5%), and produced 1.1 mln tonnes of the oilseed, with the average yield of 1.21 t/ha.
Agrarians continued harvesting soybeans: the harvested areas reached 2 mln ha (92.6%), the produced volumes – 3.1 mln tonnes, the average yield – 1.54 t/ha.
As of November 14, Russian agrarians planted winter crops for the harvest-2017 throughout 17.2 mln ha, or 99.2% of the planned areas (in 2015 — 16.2 mln ha).
