As of November 21, Ukrainian agrarians harvested 60.151 mln tonnes of grains throughout the areas of 13.396 mln ha, or 94% of the plan. The average yield totaled 4.49 t/ha, reported the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine. At the same time, on the same date last year the production volumes reached 59.06 mln tonnes.
In particular, agrarians continued harvesting corn. As of the reporting date, Ukraine harvested 21.029 mln tonnes of the grain throughout 3.367 mln ha (79%). The average yield reached 6.25 t/ha.
Also, Ukraine harvested 191 thsd tonnes of buckwheat throughout 149 thsd ha (99.8%). The average yield totaled 1.28 t/ha.
Agricultural enterprises of Ukraine harvested 13.284 mln tonnes of sunflower seed throughout 5.84 mln ha (99%), with the average yield of 2.27 t/ha.
Ukraine continued harvesting soybeans. Agrarians harvested 4.01 mln tonnes of the oilseed throughout the areas of 1.748 mln ha (95%), with the average yield of 2.29 t/ha.
Ukraine continued realizing the planting campaign of winter grains. As of November 21, agrarians planted winter grains throughout 6.939 mln ha (94% of the plan), up 298 thsd ha compared with the same date last year.
In particular, Ukraine planted winter wheat and triticale throughout 5.901 mln ha (95%), winter rye - 158 thsd ha (107%), and winter barley - 879 thsd ha (86%). Also, Ukraine planted winter rapeseed throughout 844 thsd ha (117%).
