As of November 28, Ukrainian agrarians harvested 62.073 mln tonnes of grains throughout the areas of 13.679 mln ha, or 95% of the plan. The average yield totaled 4.54 t/ha, reported the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine. At the same time, on the same date last year the production volumes reached 59.9 mln tonnes.
In particular, agrarians continued harvesting corn. As of the reporting date, Ukraine harvested 22.915 mln tonnes of the grain throughout 3.643 mln ha (86%). The average yield reached 6.29 t/ha.
Agricultural enterprises of Ukraine harvested 13.369 mln tonnes of sunflower seed throughout 5.877 mln ha (99%), with the average yield of 2.27 t/ha.
Ukraine continued harvesting soybeans. Agrarians harvested 4.067 mln tonnes of the oilseed throughout the areas of 1.775 mln ha (97%), with the average yield of 2.29 t/ha.
Ukraine continued realizing the planting campaign of winter grains. As of November 28, agrarians planted winter grains throughout 6.95 mln ha (94% of the plan), up 282 thsd ha compared with the same date last year.
In particular, Ukraine planted winter wheat and triticale throughout 5.909 mln ha (95%), winter rye - 158 thsd ha (107%), and winter barley - 882 thsd ha (86%). Also, Ukraine planted winter rapeseed throughout 845 thsd ha (117%).
