According to him, 2016 was a very good and productive period for grain producers. But agrarians would like to get the higher prices for grain crops in the current year.
Also, in 2016 the general grain harvest in the country reached 1.213 mln tonnes throughout the areas of 333 thsd ha. In particular, agrarians harvested 186.7 thsd tonnes of winter barley throughout 54.7 thsd ha. The yield totaled 3.41 t/ha, up 46% compared with 2015.
At the same time, the average yield of grain crops of the second group increased by 15% compared with last year.
