As of April 3, Ukrainian agrarians planted early spring grains and pulses throughout the areas of 1.43 mln ha, or 60% of the plan, declared the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
In particular, agrarians planted spring wheat throughout 93 thsd ha (49%), spring barley — 962 thsd ha (56%), and oats — 98 thsd ha (47%).
As of the reporting date, Ukraine already completed the planting campaign of peas, which areas reached 276 thsd ha (100% of the forecast).
In addition, agrarians started planting sunflower seed - the planted areas reached 70 thsd ha, or 1% of the plan.
