In 2017, Kazakhstan planted grain crops throughout the areas of 14.68 mln ha, a decrease of 292.8 thsd ha compared with 2016, reported the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
According to the announcement, agrarians completed the planting campaign with a small underrun due to less favorable weather conditions than in 2016. But the government plans included the above-mentioned reduction of grain planted areas, which mainly developed due to the diversification processes.
